Part-time Graphic Designer – FSU

The Graphic Designer responsibilities include creating print and online collateral including posters, handbills, flyers, handbooks and brochures, as well as graphic elements to be used on the website, in social media and on LCD monitors. This position is for up to 10 hours per week for $10 an hour during the Fall 2017 semester. The Graphic Designer reports to the CGE Communications Coordinator Rebecca Mahony.

Responsibilities:
Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (CS6 or CC), including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro
Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment using PCs
The ideal candidate will:

Have a solid understanding of which graphic design program to use for different projects
Have an advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and especially InDesign
Have excellent communication skills
Demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Be willing to take initiative

Preferred:
Studio Art major, with a concentration in computer graphics
Holds the following Lynda.com certifications:
InDesign CC 2017 Essential Training
Illustrator CC 2017 Essential Training
Photoshop CC 2017 Essential Training
Has photography, videography and multimedia editing skills
