| The Outreach Director for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Food, Nutrition and Wellness directs, develops and manages the outreach efforts and creation of materials for the state of Florida’s child nutrition programs, including the National School Lunch Program and Summer Food Service Program. Additionally, the position manages and directs the division’s Farm to School activities, an initiative to increase the procurement and consumption of locally grown or produced foods in the child nutrition programs. The Outreach Director serves as the supervisor for division’s outreach team, made up of five full-time employees, and manages the budget and resources for the section. |
